Based in central Hull, counselling can help you deal with, and overcome issues that are causing pain or making you feel uncomfortable. Counselling may help you cope if you’re struggling after a bereavement, loss, relationship breakdowns, work issues, anxiety, feelings of sadness, or depression.
I offer a confidential, non-judgemental safe space in Hull, for you to talk and explore difficult feelings, and help you understand yourself more fully.
During your counselling sessions, my role is to listen to you, support you, and respect your views. With empathy, and compassion, I can help you work through your thoughts and feelings, find your own insight and understanding of your problems, and feel more confident. I can help you to accept what you can’t change, and change what you can.
I believe that a strong therapeutic relationship allows the healing work of therapy to take place. Many of my clients have said attending counselling sessions was literally a life changing experience.
