Never take someones feelings for granted

We believe what we tell ourselves

Most of our self-talk is reasonable, for example: ‘I’d better prepare for my exam’, or ‘I’m really looking forward to that match’. However, some of our self-talk is negative, unrealistic or self-defeating, such as: I’m know I’m going to fail’, or ‘I didn’t play well! I’m useless’.
